Education:
Master of mathematics (1980) and Ph.D. in mathematics (1985) (Functional analysis)- People’s Friendship Russian University, Moscow, Russia Faculty of Science, Department of Differential Equations and Functional analysis.


Research interests: History and philosophy of science, history of Arabic mathematics.


Employment:
  • 1985- 2002 professor of some universities (Syria, Libya, Yemen).
  • From 2002 – present senior scientific researcher of department of history of mathematics in the Institute for the History of Science & Technology (S. Vavilov), Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia
